Our Mission
NATI will be an essential component in the prosperity of the technology industry in Newfoundland and Labrador, and will demonstrate a positive linkage between our policy initiatives and the business results in the province's technology sector.
To accomplish this, we will advocate on behalf of the membership, ensuring the sector's voice is heard by government at all levels, and pursuing government policies favourable to the industry as a whole. NATI works to deliver the sector's views on issues that impact the growth of the technology industry, and ensures that public stakeholders understand the many challenges and best opportunities for our local technology community.
This means providing a strong representation of the advanced technology industry through policy and advocacy on key challenges and issues affecting the professional growth of our members.
As an IT consulting firm headquartered in Newfoundland and Labrador, building and maintaining a strong relationship with NATI has been valuable to our growth and success. Plato has been an active member of NATI for well over 10 years. During this time we have actively supported and participated in a variety of NATI sponsored initiatives. For the past 2 years, Plato has also been the proud platinum sponsor of NATI’s Solution Summit, the province’s largest IT conference. The annual event is an excellent opportunity for networking, building corporate awareness and profile, and better understanding the needs, challenges and opportunities facing the IT industry and its clients. NATI’s many events and activities have also helped us facilitate a healthy working relationship with our peers in the local IT industry.
