Suzanne Kenny, Director

KennySenior Manager, Enterprise Risk Services, Deloitte

Suzanne is a native of St. John's and a graduate of Memorial University Newfoundland. Upon graduation from Memorial she continued her education in Halifax, Nova Scotia and completed a graduate diploma in information technology through the Institute of Information Technology (ITI). From Halifax, Suzanne accepted a position with a management technology consulting firm in New York for what was anticipated to be a short term. This short term turned into 11 years as Suzanne built an exciting career for herself in New York, the final 8 years of which were spent working with Deloitte.

Like any Newfoundlander living outside the province, Suzanne hoped to return home one day. In November 2010 this dream became a reality when Suzanne transferred from the New York office to Deloitte's St. John's location. She is now the Senior Manager in the Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services group, with focus on technology, project, and governance risk services.

Many areas of policy advocacy resonate with Suzanne as she relates to the perspective of an industry professional seeking to return to NL, and understands the needs of the NL marketplace from an employer's perspective in addressing issues such as attracting and retaining top talent in the province.

Suzanne is committed to the business and technology communities of Newfoundland and Labrador. She is an ambassador with the St. John's Board of Trade and a Rotarian of the St. John's West Club. One of her passions committing to the advancement of women in technology and she is an active member of Deloitte's initiatives for the advancement and retention of women.
