Paul Dube, Chair

Paul has been actively engaged with NATI since his first election to the Board of Directors in 2003, when NATI advocated and lobbied for a comprehensive innovation and technology strategy for Newfoundland and Labrador. Paul later became CEO of NATI in 2006 where he led the Association through long term strategic change.  Having a passion for strong board governance and showcasing the positive developments in our advanced technology sectors, he was elected as the current Chair of the Board in 2010. 

With over twenty years of senior management experience with companies such as IBM, Bell Aliant, Sprint Canada and Vector Aerospace, Paul enjoys working with industry stakeholders in both the private and public sector.  His volunteer work goes beyond NATI, having held Board roles with the Newfoundland and Labrador Angel Network, St. John's Board of Trade, EduTech Services, and Near Shore Atlantic, and is a current board member with the Mount Pearl Sport Alliance, Newfoundland and Labrador Business Coalition, and Merit Contractors. 

Paul is a graduate of Acadia University with a double major in Business Administration and Marketing.  A resident of Mount Pearl, he spends his personal time with his wife Paula and chauffeuring his two teenage boys to hockey rinks in the winter and soccer pitches in the summer.
