 Gerard is a proven and passionate leader in the Information Technology sector with over twenty years of experience managing technology based services offerings for large enterprise (LE) clientele across Canada.  His drive and expertise allowed him to successfully work with early adopters on complex initiatives, manage business development processes and multi-skilled teams, and create and execute on strategies for both local and international businesses.

 As Vice President, zedIT Solutions Inc. (www.zeditsolutions.com), Gerard leads a world class team of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services professionals in the delivery of ICT consulting engagements for public and private sector clients, primarily in Atlantic Canada.  Services include IT Management Consulting, Business Change Management, Enterprise Architecture and Solution Delivery of custom software and commercial product integration (COTS) across a wide range of industries, including Government, Telecommunications, and Healthcare. Gerard has been instrumental in the identification of strategic growth initiatives for the company, cultivating long-term client relationships and reinforcing the company's reputation as a leading IT services provider.

 Gerard began working with zedIT Solutions in 2002, returning to Newfoundland & Labrador after a decade in British Columbia, Canada. Previous to joining zedIT Solutions, Gerard worked with the Data Group of Companies in Vancouver, developing strategic relationships with public and private sector clients who were transitioning from traditional printing and records models to electronic document management workflow & distribution.  This included Web based document management software, digital imaging, workflow process outsourcing, and electronic forms development.

 Gerard previously served on the board of NATI as Director, ICT.  He currently resides in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador with his daughter, Madeline.
